Wednesday's air quality will be mixed as we see lower AQI levels in the morning and much higher numbers in the afternoon. We should see the pollution decrease to Unhealthy or Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups in the early morning, but by noon or earlier the pollution should be increasing again. Look for us to move back into Very Unhealthy or Hazardous by evening.
EXTENDED FORECAST
THURSDAY, January 16: Thursday looks very similar to Wednesday, with lower pollution levels in the morning and higher levels in the evening.
FRIDAY, January 17: High PM2.5 levels on Friday morning should give way to clearing skies sometime in the afternoon.
SATURDAY, January 18: Right now Saturday looks like a fairly average day for Beijing. We might see somewhat clear skies in the morning, then increasing pollution in the afternoon and evening.
