We were able to enjoy just a few hours of good air on Saturday before conditions worsened. Sunday presents the opposite scenario: we will need to wait out some poor air quality in the morning before conditions improve in the late morning or early afternoon. Look for Good/Moderate air to arrive sometime between 10AM and 5PM, most likely around noon or 1PM.
EXTENDED FORECAST
MONDAY, January 20: We're expecting Good/Moderate air quality for Beijing all day on Monday.
TUESDAY, January 21: Monday’s good air quality should carry over for part of Tuesday, but we can expect the PM2.5 to start accumulating again in the afternoon and evening.
WEDNESDAY, January 22: Poor air quality should be the order of the day. From the extended forecast, it looks like we will be looking at Very Unhealthy PM2.5 levels for much of the day.
