PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Sunday, January 5, 2014
Our constantly changing Beijing air quality is keeping us on our toes as it looks like we'll get good air quality for Sunday. Sometime around or shortly after midnight, we should see PM2.5 levels start to drop, likely giving us Good/Moderate air quality around sunrise. We can expect the AQI to stay low through early afternoon, then begin to increase fairly quickly through the late afternoon and evening.
EXTENDED FORECAST
MONDAY, January 6: The air quality should continue to slowly deteriorate through Monday, leaving us with Unhealthy or worse conditions for the entire day, likely with the highest pollution of the day coming in the evening.
TUESDAY, January 7: We should see poor air quality continue overnight, then it’s likely that we will see clearing skies sometime in the afternoon.
WEDNESDAY, January 8: We should see air quality that is generally better than average for Beijing this time of year, and the afternoon should be particularly nice with Good or Moderate air quality.
