PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Tuesday, May 6, 2014
We're going to be back to normal in Beijing on Tuesday, and that means Unhealthy air quality. We should move up into Unhealthy conditions during the early morning hours and through the late morning, but there is some chance of clearing skies in the evening. We think it is most likely that the AQI will stay at or near the Unhealthy range, but it is possible that the AQI could drop as low as Moderate in the late evening.
EXTENDED FORECAST
WEDNESDAY, May 7: Wednesday's forecast has improved over the last couple of days. Right now, it looks like we could see clear skies return during the late morning or early afternoon. This is still probably a long shot, so we will hope for the best. If that improved air quality does not show up, we are likely to spend most of the day at Unhealthy conditions.
THURSDAY, May 8: We should be back at Unhealthy conditions on Thursday morning, but there is some chance of improved air quality in the afternoon.
FRIDAY, May 9: Friday's conditions should be similar to Thursday's, with poor air quality in the morning and improved conditions in the afternoon and evening.
