PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Monday, May 26, 2014

Monday's forecast looks promising, but there is still a chance that we could see PM2.5 levels higher than on Sunday.  Even with that, you can just about guarantee better than average air quality for Monday.

EXTENDED FORECAST

TUESDAY, May 27:  Tuesday’s forecast looks great as well:  even if the AQI goes up in the morning hours, look for the skies to clear again by the afternoon.  There is one caveat to this forecast, however:  high winds are predicted for the afternoon, and that could develop into a sandstorm and give us worse than expected air quality.

WEDNESDAY, May 28:  The AQI may be a bit lower than normal on Wednesday morning, but look for conditions to return to more normal readings during the late morning or afternoon.  We will almost certainly make it back to Unhealthy AQI readings at some point during the afternoon.

THURSDAY, May 29:  Thursday looks like it will be an average day for Beijing with AQI readings at Unhealthy for most or all of the day.
