PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Sunday, May 18, 2014

Sunday's forecast is looking very similar to Saturday's conditions, so will probably seem a bit familiar.  Look for the AQI to increase overnight, probably leaving us at Unhealthy for the morning hours.  Then the pollution levels should start to decrease around late morning or noon, and we could see AQI readings as low as Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups by late afternoon.

EXTENDED FORECAST

MONDAY, May 19:  Tomorrow, we will not be posting a forecast for Monday, so this brief look ahead will have to suffice.  We should wake up to Unhealthy AQI readings, but the skies should start to clear shortly after noon.  There is a very good chance that the AQI will drop down to Good or Moderate before the day is over.

TUESDAY, May 20:  There is a good chance we will have Good/Moderate air quality through the morning and possibly into the early afternoon on Tuesday, but the pollution should start to accumulate again during the afternoon hours.

WEDNESDAY, May 21:  We will probably be back to about average air quality on Wednesday, with AQI readings at Unhealthy for most of the day.
