PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Sunday, March 2, 2014

Saturday showed up with great air quality in the morning, but we can't expect the same on Sunday.  We're looking for Unhealthy and deteriorating air quality in the morning, then a chance at clearing skies in the late afternoon.  Just like on Saturday, the weather forecasts we use don't agree on the weather conditions for the afternoon, so we have one scenario that brings us clear skies and the other leaving us in the Unhealthy range.  We'll keep hoping for the best, and maybe we can get two days in a row with Good air quality.

EXTENDED FORECAST

MONDAY, March 3:  We could have decent air quality on Monday morning, but we should see conditions deteriorating again by late morning or early afternoon.  Expect to see Unhealthy conditions before the day is over.

TUESDAY, March 4:  It looks like we will see clearing skies again on Tuesday, with the clean air likely arriving before sunrise.

WEDNESDAY, March 5:  Tuesday's clear air should carry over into Wednesday morning.  We should see some increase in pollution levels throughout the day, but at this point it looks as if that accumulation will be fairly slow.
