PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Monday, March 3, 2014

Sunday's pollution was higher than we anticipated, and Monday is not looking much better at this point.  We should see some of the accumulated pollution clear off in the early morning, but after that we're looking for more accumulation, back at Unhealthy and Very Unhealthy, for the rest of the day.

EXTENDED FORECAST

TUESDAY, March 4:  We will see clear skies again on Tuesday, with the clean air likely arriving between midnight and sunrise.

WEDNESDAY, March 5:  Tuesday’s clear air should carry over into Wednesday morning and possibly into early afternoon.  We should see some increase in pollution levels throughout the day, but at this point it looks as if that accumulation will be fairly slow.

THURSDAY, March 6:  Pollution levels should remain fairly low on Thursday, although it's unclear if that will mean Good/Moderate air or something in the lower range of Unhealthy.
