PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Saturday, March 15, 2014

After another day of great air quality on Friday, we're headed back to Unhealthy conditions on Saturday.  The general trend of the day should be one of increasing pollution; we will likely move through Unhealthy and up into Very Unhealthy before the day is over.

EXTENDED FORECAST

SUNDAY, March 16:  We’re expecting the poor air quality to continue on Sunday, most likely giving us Unhealthy or Very Unhealthy conditions throughout the day.

MONDAY, March 17:  Good air should be back on Monday – look for the air to clear between about 6AM and 10AM, then we should remain at Good or Moderate throughout the day.

TUESDAY, March 18:  The clear air could stay with us through Tuesday morning, but it is likely that the pollution will begin to accumulate again in the afternoon.  There is a good chance that we will spend most of the day at Unhealthy or higher AQI levels.
