PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Wednesday, January 8, 2014

Wednesday looks like a great day in Beijing!  We should see PM2.5 levels at Good/Moderate for nearly the entire day.  We will likely see PM2.5 increase in the evening, but it does not look like it will increase terribly quickly.

EXTENDED FORECAST

THURSDAY, January 9:  Thursday will likely be worse than Wednesday for air quality, so we should spend a good portion of the day at Unhealthy AQI levels.  The general trend should be for increasing PM2.5, so we could see an AQI of Very Unhealthy by late evening.

FRIDAY, January 10:  There are no signs of good air arriving on Friday, so we can expect AQI levels to be at Unhealthy or Very Unhealthy for the entire day.

SATURDAY, January 11:  Saturday looks like a repeat of Friday, with the AQI at Unhealthy or Very Unhealthy for most of the day, but there is a good chance that we will see big increases in PM2.5 levels in the evening.
