PM2.5 Forecast for Beijing – Friday, March 7, 2014

We've had a great run of good air quality this week, and we might see just a bit more on Friday.  Although we should see increasing PM2.5 levels overnight, those levels should drop somewhat in the morning hours.  We could see the pollution drop off to as low as Good/Moderate air in the morning and early afternoon, then we will be looking for increasing pollution through the late afternoon and evening.

EXTENDED FORECAST

SATURDAY, March 8:  We are expecting about average air quality for Beijing on Saturday.  There is a small chance that the AQI will be at Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups or lower, but it is most likely that we will see Unhealthy conditions throughout the day.

SUNDAY, March 9:  The poor air quality should continue on Sunday, but as of right now we do not expect to see the AQI go much above the Unhealthy range.

MONDAY, March 10:  Look for more of the same poor air quality on Monday, although it looks like Monday could have higher pollution levels than we will see over the weekend.
